For those who still read this blog. Here are some pictures from my trip to Perth. It was a pretty short trip. 4-5 days, just to see my eldest sis graduate. We just went there as a FAMILY, yes family. Which means my 2nd sis came too.
Pictures!
Who knew Chad Michael Murray had a street named after him?

I thought this was really cute. This was in a
Pumpkin Patch shop that had this little play pan where the mums could put their children in, and shop away. Plus the play pan had a teevee showing Timon & Pumba.
"Its a problem free, philosophy!
Timon & Pumba!"
(Get it?)
While I was walking, guess what I spotted?
Lamborghini!
Sad thing was that it had a Spoiler attached to its back. You know why its called a Spoiler? Cause it really spoils the whole look of the car.

Oh and did I mention that behind that Lambo, was ANOTHER Lambo.
Atleast this one didn't have a spoiler.
Justina heart Lamborghini.
Note: the food in Australia is freakin expensive.
Inflation is everywhere.
I found this very peculiar. The trees in my sisters university campus actually shred their barks. So weird.

So envious that my sis had her graduation with such a beautiful setting, held at this large green patch of land in the campus. It was even more
mesmerising with the sunset as the backdrop.

Sick of all the grass and trees in Singapore?
Go to Australia, they decorate their walkways with colourful flowers.

The water dispenser is so pretty.

This guy so reminds me of Ulric.

My last breakfast in Perth:
Blueberry and Yogurt Pancakes. Yummy!

The luggages of 5 people. See that luggage beside the red one on the left, which is sort of being blocked with the luggage that has its handle sticking out? Don't be decieved by its side profile. That Killer luggage weighed
21kg. You'd figure it was my eldest sisters luggage.

We're going home. Wheeee. There was a
Caucasian lady standing behind while I was playing with my
Confused Soul(that little fella on the far left).
I told her: It's a wolf in sheeps fur. (taking off its little sheep hoodie)
and she replied: It's beautiful.
haha

My plane home. I love looking at aeroplanes.

Wondering whats up with that last pic?
I've got this thing for Skaterboy's.
It's something about their long, curly, messy hair, and their oversized clothes and shoes, that appeals to me. Hence, when I saw this little skaterboy, I was like, Stop and Stare. And I'm not a pedophile, I just love skaterboys at every age. haha
Yup, so that was my short trip to Perth. I had loads of fun there. The weather was great too. SunnySunnyWindyWindy days with a temperature of 18-25 degrees. Shiok right? Its like mother natures free aircon.

Happy Chinese New Year One and All!-I know I’m a little late, but this New Year has been pretty slow for me, I basically finished all my visiting in one day, which was Sunday, the Forth Day of the Lunar New Year. This also meant that I spent the first three days moping at home feeling sluggish and sad for myself. Yes, that would describe a typical day of my life now. Though I wouldn’t say that despite all this I would actually consider find something more productive to do.-
We were all rushing out so we didn't have any time to snap a few pictures in the house, but we managed to take some in the care on our way to my Grandma's place. She recently moved so it was nearer then usual this time.
-
-
You can't really see it now, but I was wearing a dress as well.
-
-
Anyway, as a result of wanting to complete all our visitations in one day we had to leave early. Hearing so, I wasn’t too pleased, as it meant that I had to drag my lazy butt out of bed. Sob.We left the house at about 10.30am to go to my Grandma’s house first, turns out they weren’t the type that got up early as well, and the worst part of it is that I don’t think my Grandma remembers me that well. I suppose it’s because I never really got the chance to know her, in addition there’s the communication barrier as well. Sigh.
-
-
After we left we headed to my Bro’s place to pick him and Ash up to go to my Third Uncle’s place to have our family pot luck.
There were tons of foods laid on the table, kids running around when we arrived.
-
-
We started our meal with the Yusheng (Lou Hei as we cantonese call it.), the table was maxed out as you can see, some of us had to take turns in order to get a go at tossing it.
-
-
I decided to gate crash my Sister's friends party, since I had nothing to do and none of my friends invited me to their homes. Sigh. It didn't take me long to get acquinted with most of them, since I have already met some, and the others I've seen from photo's my Sis takes. I felt right in place after awhile.
-
-
We started with the Lou Hei right after we stepped in, everything was arranged nicely. My Sis was pumped up for another round of Lou Hei, knowing how much she loves it. Odd, but true.
-
-
After finishing that we sat around the table to play Blackjack, I wasn't too keen on playing at first as I never was the kind to win at gambling, so I sat beside my Sis and told everyone I was 'testing waters' first. However, a few rounds later I was persuaded to play with them. I ended up winning quite a few rounds. =) So I left with a couple bucks more then I came with.
-
-
We had to leave early as my Sis friends had some visiting to do. Next on our itinerary was to head to Elsie's place (another if my Sis's friends, but this time I was invited!), but we were still early so a few of us headed to town as her friends had some errends to run. Lucky for us, her friend, Benjamin recently bought a BRAND NEW CAR. So we had no trouble travelling around.
-
-
Since we were at Paragon, we decided to have dinner there as well. After walking around we decided on Spageddies, this Western Restaurant at the basement of Paragon. It was my first time there, but the rest of them had been there a few times before.
-
-
We managed to snag a few shots while waiting for our orders to arrive.
-
-
My Sister's friends, Huiyi and Benjamin.
-
-
The Calamari. The batter was nice, it was served with a Tomato Dip instead of the usual Tar Tar sauce or Mayo. I enjoyed it.
-
-
Our salad dish, with Ham and Croutons, covered in a Vinaigrette dressing.
-
-
A cream pasta. There were chopped up pieces of ham in the sauce which really complimented the dish.
-
-
Finally our pizza, I love pizza. It always satisfies me. Hehe.
-
-
After finishing our dinner we then went to our last stop for the day, Elsie's house. When we arrived the table was set for a fondue dessert. There was a cheesecake there as well. I have to say I was pretty filled up by then.
-
-
There were marshmallows, nuts, pretzels, butter cookies, waffles laid out ready to be dipped into molten chocolate. YUMMY!
-
-
This is an atas (high class) serving plate, it allows you to attach your drink onto it, so you would have one free hand. I thought it was pretty sweet. Apparently its designed by this Felix Stark dude. Apparently at her house they don't serve H20, its either Alcohol or coke.
-
-
When there is alcohol, there is my SIS! She finished an entire bottle of white wine, while i had my Bailey's Irish Cream, along with a assortment of other alcoholic drinks.
-
-
Her friend had bought a bunch of cookies for us to try, they were all uniquely flavoured and OH SO GOOD!!
-
-
These were filled with Cherries, White Chocolate and Macadamia Nuts. It was really crumbly, and it melts in your mouth.
-
-
Second in line was a fruity blend. A Lychee flavoured cookie. MMMMmmmm.
-
-
Next up, its like a juice, but in a cookie, inside were Cranberries and Orange Chocolate. Sweet.
-
-
Be surprised by this one, LAKSA cookies, DEFINATELY one of the tops in my list of cookies. Its just like drinking laska gravy, I could taste the coconut milk and all. It was GREAT!
-
-
But but but but but..... My ABSOLUTE favourite is..... The Hae Bee Hiam Cookie, its the spicy dried shrimp. This was a HIT for me hands down. It was really spicy. I had 2 of these there, and 4 to go! They are SO GOOD!
-
-
One group shot before we left.
-
-
What a day it was. I had so much fun with my Sis and her friends. This was definately a highlight of this Chinese New Year.

So I’ve been honestly gorging this holiday, occasion or no occasion, I’ve been known to my friends and family to be a big eater. Yesterday, Justina, Wenna, Gwen, Yuhang and I met up for lunch at the Heeren, as usual Justina was the early bird. Clad in a knee length black dress she looked absolutely adorable, when Wenna and I arrived we walked awhile at Heeren before Yuhang arrived. Not surprisingly Gwen was late, and she made us run around Ngee Ann City to wait for her. Which made me pretty pissed and moody, and it led to Wenna and Justina getting a little moody as well. Thankfully, things got much better after we decided where we wanted to eat and got settled down.
-

-
Gwen is sweet in her own little ways. Which makes me feel really bad about still owing her, her birhday gift. Opps.
-
-
A little note, filled with love from Gwen.
-
-
A deck of cards. It was nice, there were different designs on the cards itself.
-
After much deliberation we decided to eat at Crystal Jade to have our lunch.
(We were seated at a really big round table which big families usually sit it, so it was pretty weird at first.
Btw, because there was so much food going on I totally forgot to take a picture of Gwen's and mine shared Century Egg Mince Pork Congee.)
-
-
Fried Bean Curd Skin. There was mince pork inside I think? It was a little salty, but it was juicy, I ate most of it as well.
-
-
Yuhang's Duck Noodles, didn't try this as well, but it looks pretty nice?
At least it isn't dry.
-
-
Justina's Congee, no idea what it is called. It tasted alright, it was pretty watery towards the end though, Wenna, Gwen and I ended up finishing most of it because Justina didn't enjoy it that much. It wasn't too bad.
-
-
Wenna's 'Wanton Mee'? Have no idea what it tasted like either.
It looks good though.
-
-
Deep Fried Silver Fish, it was pretty nice, kind of salty, fried in some sort of flour batter. I finished most of it.
-

-
'Ha Gao' a shrimp dumpling. I didn't get a chance to try it because Wenna snagged most of it.
-
-
This is one of my favourite desserts, I guess its a Cantonese dessert? Its pan fried with Water Chestnuts inside, so its kinda crunchy. Its sweet.
I have no idea how to describe it man.
It was pretty oily though.
-
-
This was part of the Dim Sum menu, Gwen said it was nice so we had some. It was quite alright, it wasn't too sweet and the pastry was buttery.
-
Gwen had to return to work after we were done so the four of us decided to walk around for a bit, none of us bought anything but I suppose you could say we enjoyed each other’s company, though, if it had lasted any longer I would have been pretty bored.
-
My Sis and I had planned to meet after my lunch, so after Yuhang left we headed down to The Central in hopes of finding some New Year outfits. What a disappointing trip that turned out to be. All of us left empty handed. It was getting late, Wenna had to head home for dinner and Justina had a family function to attend.
-
That left my Sis and I to head down to Vivo to collect her NEW Sushi Tei card. We were pumped up to eat there. We managed to get ourselves great ocean view seats which made our dining experience even more pleasurable.
-
-
We had this the last time and I liked it. Its some seasoned scallops edges.
Its chewy.
-

-
A fish Roe sushi which my Sis always orders, I love the crunch it makes when I bite into it. Lovely.
-
-
Some Unagi Roll we decided to try instead of our usual Unagi Rice dish. I was still pretty filled from lunch I decided I couldn't eat a lot more. It was really good, the Unagi was warm while the rice was cool. A good blend.
-

-
This is definitely my new favourite dish. Its some huge prawns baked with Mayo, Fish Roe and seasoned to perfection. Succulent, and HEAVENLY!! And....
They also cost 15 big bucks.
I LOVE YOU SIS! So when is our next trip?
-
-
A must have whenever my Sis and I head to Sushi Tei, our Sashimi Salad. Filled with huge chunks of fresh Salmon, Tuna and Octopus. An absolute must have with Sushi Tei's very own dressing, a perfect salad dish.
-
-
My crab hand roll, a must have whenever I eat Sushi. I absolutely love soft shell crabs.
-
We finally figured we weren't going to get any outfits so we headed down to Giant to do some grocery shopping, Giant never lets us down. They sell things cheaper then most Grocery stores. My Sis was telling me about her Rice Krispie Treats so we decided to make some. And here are the results.
-

-
We melted a whole pack of Marshmallows and dumped a BOX of Cocoa Pops inside and pressed it into a baking tray for it to cool.
-

-
Look at the chewy melted marshmallow stretch. Yum!
Easy to make and good to EAT!
That was Sharolyn's enitre day of food gorging. Enjoy your food porn! -
