But there are just so many things to buy so little time! Tomorrow is my last day of shopping here, my mum has already finished her shopping, so I will probably head down to the city ALONE! Sigh. My parents are really quite comfortable with the independence bullshit. Laughs. So I will have to practice it to prove that I am a independent girl! Will talk about it again when I get back in Singapore. Laughs.
I don’t want to list out everything I’ve bought, when I return to Singapore you guys will have your chance at seeing what I bought. Hehe. So happy about all my purchases. Will do some more shopping tomorrow. SMILES! So exciting. I bought so many things. Got so many gifts. So bloody broke now. Tomorrow’s my last DAY! Gosh! I hate to leave.
I’ve been eating a lot here as well, and the food here aren’t exactly fat free, cause its cold here, so we tend to get hungry easier. But hopefully after all the shopping and walking that I’ve been doing I would be able to lose some weight. Recently during this holiday I realized I’ve been gaining quite a lot of weight. Sigh.
There’s nothing much to do in the Hotel though, cause all the TV channels are in German, and the only English Channel is CNN. That’s dumb. I’m like. “Do I look like I speak German?” Stupid TV. But from what I’ve seen there aren’t many Asians, maybe even non, except for us and my Dads colleague, I feel kinda Alienated at times. But luckily I have Internet. I don’t know what I’ll do if I didn’t have my internet, and if I couldn’t talk to my friends back home. The only sucky part is that my Dads laptop can’t download MSN. Oh well, at least my friends are willing to use the old fashion Email so I still talk to them. Its fun. Although I think most of them are quite bored with my emails already, cause I talk a lot and complain a lot, especially my sis. Laughs. I miss her, I wish she could have been here. Sigh. I don’t think I’ve fully gotten used to the time here, but since I don’t usually sleep that early back when I was in Singapore its easier for me to stay awake. When its 1am in Hamburg, its 8am back home. 7hours difference. But sometimes I get so bored that I choose to sleep early. Laughs. I want to finish reading my book but I’m afraid I won’t have anything to do when I get stuck in the airport again, so I’m saving the ending for later. Laughs.
Otherwise I’ve been having a lot of fun here, I love the weather. The environment.
I wasn’t too keen on coming here at first, but now. I will just hate to leave. My sis was correct after all. Laughs.
ANYWAY.
Want to know what I have been eating for breakfast?
Day 1 – Sausages, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Yogurt, Orange Juice and Coffee.
Day 2 – Sausages, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Yogurt, Orange Juice and Coffee. Cereal too. There are 8types of cereal here. Laughs.

Day 5 – I had the same thing, but I had steak this time too, it was also by a road side store, but it was really good. I will post pictures of it too. Yupp.
Day 6 – Today I had, Sausages, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Yogurt, Orange Juice and Coffee. I had a mix of 4 types of cereal and a Raisin Bread too. Damn full. Haha.
I had 5 cups of coffee, black, the coffee here is good. =)
Laughs. The rest of what I ate are not great, instant food or cold food.
Went out yesterday and managed to get a few items as well. Mostly gifts for my friends. BUT. Tomorrow is shopping for me myself and I. Cause I’M on vacation. Everyone else can wait. Or. Not get anything. HEHE.
MORE PICTURES!
Enjoy. I took a long time to finish this BLOG!
(Justina please wait awhile more before you upload the rest of your pictures.
Thanks)
Look!! My very own pair of Birkenstock’s!! Pretty?
It only cost me 60sing. Cheap huh? But there weren’t many designs available. Winter I guess. Oh well. This is still pretty right? This is the last time I will see the box. I won’t put it in my luggage cause it takes up space. Sigh.
I bought this bag a few days back. My mum called it ‘ugly’. I mean look at it. How could a pretty thing like that be called ugly? It’s brown and has 2 cute front pockets.
Please tell me you think its pretty. If you don’t think it’s pretty then I will tell you that it looks nicer in real life. . Yupp. That’s my excuse.
This is something dumb you should do when you get the chance at least once in a lifetime. Eat ice cream when you’re out in the cold! Though the effects are better when its snowing. Smiles! Your fingers will feel like frozen popsicles.
FYI its Gelato. Bleah.

I took this picture at the lobby of the hotel, I thought it looked unique, its actually a block of wood and they just chopped off the front to make a chair out of that block of wood. A nice piece of art. Natural. Unvanished.

This is what I had for lunch on Saturday. It was huge, its not like the ones we get in Singapore, this is the good stuff! Its good to eat something hot when you’re out in the cold. Hehe. Yum!
This is the mushrooms that they sold as well. Its button mushrooms. Fresh ones. I don’t know how they cooked it. But it was gooood. Soft and juicy.
I had this on Sunday. I found out it was actually pork not a beef steak. But it was still good. They marinated it real good and it was very soft and tender. And it wasn’t salty. Cause almost everything here is cooked with 1kg of salt.
This is how they grill it, I thought it was pretty cool.
Look, even the "Chefs" by the road sides have uniforms.
Laughs.
We walked to the Christmas market and saw some pretty cool stuff. They sold a lot of things there. This is a guy blowing glass. Melting it and bending it into shapes. I’ve never seen a person do it in front of me before. COOL huh?
This is a part of a building near the big Christmas Market, I didn’t go in though. It might have been some sort of a museum. No idea but it was nice.
This is another part of the building. This is stuff you don’t see in Singapore. Artistic sculptures. Stuff you see in the movies. Laughs.
I’ll post more pictures of the scenery as well as other things that I’ve seen when I get back in Singapore, cause it takes a long time to upload the pictures and I have to do it one by one. And my internet isn’t free. Laughs.
Because most of the places were closed we went window shopping. And I spotted THE cutest thing. Justina would so LOVE this. Laughs. CUTE!
You can tell what it is right?
WARNING!
The next part of this is a little RA, I told you that it was a SHAROLYN’S GROWN UP HOLIDAY. So Justina, you can stop here. As for the rest of you. HEHEHE! (Insert EVIL laugh)
I know the transition is a bit drastic, from cute cows to what you’re about to see. But.. Er.. I got
no excuses.
First I shall introduce you to this place “Reeperbahn”. I came here because there was a grocery store open here. On Sundays almost everywhere shops are closed so we had to make a unexpected trip here to buy some groceries.
Next fact I want to tell you about this place “Reeperbahn” its Germany’s very own ‘Red Light District’. HAHA! I didn’t see anybody standing outside but you could see the sign boards. Laughs.
SIGN BOARD NUMBER 1
This is for educational purposes right?
*coughs* Oppps.
On second thought..... Guess not......
SIGN BOARD NUMBER 2
HEH HEH.
SIGN BOARD NUMBER 3
I guess this is wherre the "Live" performances are held at. Laughs.
Proabably a popular spot to find Dirty Old Men!
LoL!
By the way, please note that I only came here to get groceries. So don't think otherwise.
Laughs. I didn't come here to see this. It so happened that the lady told us we could come here to get groceries. So we were there. That's all. Tsk tsk.
