Da dee dum dee dum. So I went to the St. Gab Concert today, the RESONANCE at the Victoria Concert Hall. I was basically dragged along there, though, by the end of the concert I didn’t regret going at all.
So we both dressed up for this a little more GLAM event. The band did a pretty good job. They played a many good pieces. But I didn’t exactly go there for the Symphonic Band, I went there for there Vocal Ensemble (VE).
Cause Gwen’s friend was performing and he got us tickets to attend. So being nice as I am, I went with her. (She’s so going to smack me after she sees this.)
He did a pretty good job, not forgetting to add that he paid for our tickets which were $12 bucks each, I have to say, I gained the most, cause I was kinda the TAG ALONG for fun.
In addition, he was the ONLY ONE, with a solo throughout the whole VE performance.
I have to admit, we both started staring at each other and laughing when he stepped up to sing. We honestly didn’t know.
Excellent job though.
There was this saxophonist who also was the only one with a solo in the band performance, he was magnificent. For some one his age (16-17) he did an amazing job. He was quite cute too, a little short maybe. Oh well.
Saw a few Zhong Huay Rians as well. Heh.
After the concert we headed back to City Hall to grab dinner, though it was already 10.15pm we were both starved, so we went to New York New York to eat. Nope, no pictures though, phone too lousy, wait till I get a better one I will try to upload more. LOL.
We sat and talked for awhile until the people there gave us the
“We’re closing, its time for you to leave.”
Look before we finally dragged our asses home.
Yawn. I’m dead beat. Night!
Da dee dum dee dum dum dum. Zzzzz.
