So I’ve went MIA again at our blog, but no one really seems to be bothering me about it except my sis. But looking at Justina’s posts, it seems that many of our readers out there are more interested in Justina’s posts then mine. Ah well.
This was on the 15 Nov, I know I’m slow, but once I blog, I will go all the way. My sis and I went to watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang the musical, it was my first ever musical. The props were magnificent. The cast were excellent. Though I thought that the stage was pretty small. It was a wonder how they made the car fly. No matter, it was still excellent. In addition we had really good seats because my sis decided to splurge on our tickets (Thanks!) we were seated 3rd row from the stage. So we could see everything clearly. It was great.
Off we went.
-Before we left the house, all GLAMMED out and ready to have a wondeful evening.
-
We decided to splurge on dinner as well, since we were all dressed up.
SUSHI TEI
Apparently it has higher class compared to Sakae Sushi. Becase according to my sis, most kids go to Sakae rether then Sushi Tei. And Sushi Tei does not offer buffets.

My Miso Soup that I wanted, it was pretty satisfying, perhaps one of the best Miso Soup which I had. It definately left me craving for more, there was a generous serving of seaweed and Tou Foo.

The Sashimi Salad. I have to say I was looking forward to having this again after my first try at Paragon, they gave us large chunks of Sashimi compared to this one at Raffles. I have to admit my Sis and I were pretty disppointed at the measly and thinly sliced Sashimi.

This was my Cooked Salmon Roll, I enjoyed it, they could have smothered it with a little more saseme seed though.
-
-Scallop edges, probably the best part of the scallop, it has a nice chewy feel to it and it was sweet, I liked it.

I forgot was this is called, but its different then the normal one. This egg roe has more crunch to it when you bite into it. Definately much better then the other one that I've been eating.

Eel, I have never really been big on eel, but my Sis enjoys it, because I have a GINORMOUS (Gigantic and Enormous, apparently an actual word in the dictionary now) appetite I always agree to order it to eat the rice, the sauce is really good and the eel always look so good that I'm often tempted to eat more.

The Soft Shell Crab hand roll was probably the best of all, they gave us a generous portion of crab, and the roll was huge. My sis and I both felt a little unglam trying to stuff the huge roll into our mouths without drawing attention.
-
A satisfying meal indeed. We then headed down to Marina Square to get some Hokkaido Ice Cream, proabably the best place to get Green Tea and Milk Tea Ice Cream. It is so good. Plus, it is 90+ percent fat free. What more could a girl ask for?

The rooftop of the esplanade. A great view. But we both decided that it would be easy to commit suicide there, because there weren't any rails, and the wall surrounding it was pretty low.
Anyway, it was a fulfilling day. One I would never forget.
Sharolyn is CONTENTED.
